About LEAd

The South Carolina Hospital Association would like to invite you to join in our efforts to SHAPE THE DEBATE for both state and national healthcare related issues. Legislators in SC and in Washington, DC make decisions that impact your hospitals on a daily basis. As we continue to face challenges with reimbursement, staffing shortages and quality and patient safety, it is very important that our elected officials understand and care about the future of the healthcare system. Learn how your voice can be heard and make an impact with those who are making decisions.

What is LEAd?

LEAd, Leadership for Education and Advocacy, is the South Carolina Hospital Association’s grassroots advocacy program that allows members to work together to make sure the healthcare community is influencing policy decisions that will affect the future of healthcare.

What are the benefits of joining?

Joining LEAd provides the opportunity to play a role in the development of public policy that furthers the interests of hospitals and the communities they serve.  Members will receive updated information from the State and Federal levels, Advocacy Alerts on important issues, and the tools needed to effectively communicate with lawmakers on issues of importance.
